Anna will explore the depths of meaning within oral history as story. This workshop will give you insights into the complexities and sensitivities of working with stories at every stage of oral history production from research to final representation. You will take a look at how the context of the interview shapes the story and how the process and form of representation impacts on the layers of truth within the story. It's a hearty look at the contemporary role of oral historians as story listeners, story custodians, community cultural workers, media producers and friends.
