Anna Jarrett & Ann Lehmann - Once Upon A Song
A little bit funky and a little bit folky, Once Upon A Song features lots of musical styles
which you can sing, dance and play along with, from bluegrass to tango, lullabies to
jazz. Whether you’re a childcare professional looking for a fun educational resource,
a grandparent looking for the perfect gift, or a parent wanting to give your child a
With rave reviews from kids, parents and educators, we’re delighted that Once Upon A Song has been entertaining many children and families at daycare centres, on long car trips, at bedtime, during hospital visits and just about anytime for playing at home.
Inspired by early childhood music circles, my daughter Jasmine (who was 2 when we recorded the CD) and requests by many parents for a kids music CD with a difference (to add some variety to mainstream kids music), Once Upon A Song was recorded in a home studio with children singing along to some of the songs. It’s a unique CD with a warm, home spun sound that’s easy to listen to over and over again (as many children love to do!).

The songs and stories promote friendship, sharing and co-operation amongst young children. It is an excellent C.D. for the encouragement of all good social and language skills. Children just love to go over it again and again. A valuable resource for all educators- (Teachers and Parents.)
The
CD is a veritable feast for the senses. As a teacher, this CD is a
springboard into many other key learning areas such as writing, visual
arts and drama. I believe that all children who enter this world,
naturally sing, dance and dramatise. Your CD fosters this innate ability
and is an absolute delight to listen to.
Jane Blonkampf, Teacher and Mother of Breeah, Aiden & Roan I've
used the CD in therapy (bereavement) - children have loved listening at
night time to go to sleep to or to comfort them during the day. They
really get a lot from it - I love it too.
