Festival, Blue Mountains NSW I am
excited to be invited to be part of this wonderful festival which
celebrates the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage area, the people
and the place. I’ll be weaving storytelling throughout this weekend
in various venues, combining workshops & storytelling performance.
The program is evolving into an inspiring event. NOVEMBER November

excited to be accredited by the Australian Sports Commission to be a
community coach as part of their Active After School program. My first
program will be weekly workshops at St Bernards School, Batehaven with

us (Once Upon A Song) & a whole bunch of exciting acts for another
legendary folk festival in Bulli. The festival is in its 24th
year and showcases a diverse range of rich cultural traditions as well
as a hearty dose of the old and the new. FEBRUARY

Folk Festival NSW Join
us (Once Upon A Song for my favourite local folk festival. Happening
at the showgrounds, the festival is surrounded by rolling green hills
and mountain wilderness in the distance. Come for a weekend of laid
back, country style, home baked fun. APRIL April

Folk Festival ACT Yeah!
We’re back at the national after a few years break. Once Upon A Song
will be playing each day at the Children’s Festival. Join us for a
fabulous four days of top quality music, dance, storytelling and
community. JUNE June
5-8 Snowies
Mountains of Music, Snowies NSW Join
our Once Upon A Song band and a whole bunch of fun family acts at the
brand spanking new Snowies festival. It’s the first weekend for
skiing so its guaranteed to be a total hoot. Come play with us! JULY

Roadshow, Eurobodalla Braidwood Learning Community (EBLC), NSW I’m
delighted to be co-facilitating the writing workshops for this project
which was launched last year in partnership with South Coast writers
Centre and the EBLC. Working with writer/performer Harry Laing, I will
present an twol day writing/storytelling workshop for middle school
students from 13 schools within the south coast region.
The focus of this day is for the students to enjoy connecting
with other young writers, and to have the opportunity to develop their
writing skills beyond the curriculum. For

Writers Festival I’m
honoured to be invited to present storytelling and writing programs
for the fifth annual Kimberley Writers Festival. SEPTEMBER
2009 August
31- Sept 12 Singapore
International Storytelling Festival I’m
delighted to be represent Australia as a featured storyteller at this
wonderful festival, hosted by the Singapore Book Council. I’ll be
presenting workshops and shows over 4 days (Sept 9-12) at top venues
including the National museum of Singapore. The event is a total of 10
days storytelling celebration!. I
highly recommend this event to all people interested in storytelling
as it is used in a diversity of contemporary contexts from corporate
environments to schools and community.
